Ever wonder what actually happens when you open up a browser and type up a website like www.google.com? How do you actually land up in the google homepage? Is the browser a magic box which can pull up anything you write in it? Let’s dive under the hood of how a website actually works. I’m going to use a lot of food and restaurant metaphors because that just makes it easier to understand. Plus, I love food. Client Anyways a client is basically the thing that is asking for something. We can think of a client as a customer at a restaurant, and the waiter is the browser.
